wireless with wired

i have two pcs running xp pro with wireless pci cards which connect to
wireless router for internet access and printer and files sharing but file
transfer is painfully slow
each pc also has a 100 mb network card is it possible to setup the file
transfers to use only the 100 mb wired connection

You'll need to edit your routing tables. Or an easier method, just disable
your wireless card when you're connected to the wired LAN.

If you disabe the wired connection, you will have a much faster on wireless
connection. I think there is a problem on Windows XP software.
