Netgear WGT1624 - rare intermittent connection loss
every other day or two for about 5 to 15 minutes, both computers lose "connection" with the router. That is, I cannot ping 192.168.0.1 (or I get very large ping times). When I look at the signal in the Netgear status panel it is *usually* strong, but occasionally very weak with the router scanning when this happens. There are no changes in the status lights on the router itself. The router detects only one other wifi network in my neighborhood, on Channel 6, and I'm on Channel 10. Any ideas on what is wrong or how I can troubleshoot it further? Probably doesn't matter, but I'm using WEP with 128-bit encryption. Thanks, Tom you should always try to be 5 channels away from any other AP if
possible. trying shifting to channel 1 to see if it makes nay difference
