I have an asus/advent notebook with a Belkin 54g pcmia card that I know
works (well I have connected to another network with it ;~)  !) I have a
wired lan to my desktop. So I thought I would get a PCI belkin wireless card
for the Desktop PC, followed the instruction for installation, and
.....nothing, neither card sees the other?  I assume I am doing something
wrong... so any ideas?
Both computers are running ME

Are you connecting them with an access point?
If not, you need to set the wireless  cards to 'adhoc' mode. (in
advanced options)

I have done that , I have removed, reinstalled just in case, If both
wireless cards are on, surely you can use the site monitor in the utilities
and see the other one, or am I missing something very basic!
