I have a new dsl Linksys wireless setup and are getting only low connects.
Are the Antenna boosters any good?  My system is a WRT54GS at my base
desktop connected wireless to a desktop with a WUSB54GS less than 50 feet
away.  The base(mine) works great, the other (my wife's) is consistently
loosing connection.  Any suggestions appreciated.

Your cordless phone can interfere with the wireless network signal.  If
you have a cordless phone, check to see if it is communicating at 2.4
gigahertz.  It will likely have either 9, 24 or 58 in the model number.
24 would indicate 2.4 gigahertz.

Good point, I canned my 2.4 phones for 5.8 phones prior to going internet
wireless.
Thanks

Thanks, I'll give it a try and report back.  Might take a few days as I have
to make a run out of town, no not from the law.

Also try :

and
whatever pigtail you need.

That omni is great!!  Used one at a motel.  We thought we would need
repeaters, but by adding this one item, all worked GREAT!
