Antenna and range
Are the Antenna boosters any good? My system is a WRT54GS at my base desktop connected wireless to a desktop with a WUSB54GS less than 50 feet away. The base(mine) works great, the other (my wife's) is consistently loosing connection. Any suggestions appreciated. Ross Your cordless phone can interfere with the wireless network signal. If
you have a cordless phone, check to see if it is communicating at 2.4 gigahertz. It will likely have either 9, 24 or 58 in the model number. 24 would indicate 2.4 gigahertz. Good point, I canned my 2.4 phones for 5.8 phones prior to going internet
wireless. Thanks, I'll give it a try and report back. Might take a few days as I have to make a run out of town, no not from the law.
