Linksys BEFW11S4 firmware?

Hello.

I have a few questions about Linksys BEFW11S4 V4.

1:
Is the hardware the same in all the BEFW11S V4. What makes it a US or
European version is only the firmware?

2: If the hardware is the same, should it be any problem loading another
countrys firmware in it?

2: Is there any alternative firmware for this accesspoint?

The only difference for some routers is the number of channels allowed,
which varies by country. I don't know if that's true of the BEFW11S4.
There are also several different routers with different BEFW11S4_v1,2,3,4
revisions, that are completely different hardware.

Its a V4 i have here.
I tryed to upload US firmware, but i still have 13 channels.
