I require a card that has the following features: - b/g - latest security standards (WPA-AES I guess) - good Windows and Linux support (I suppose this limits choices to Prism chipsets primarily) and no problems with common apps like Netstumbler - external antenna connector (MC or whatever) I've already spent hours searching for such a card.  Can't find even one that supports all requirements.  Compex is close but apparently only has WEP.  Proxim is also close but Linux support is weak. Help! -- Cowboy brought to you by http://www.wifi-forum.com/

check sourceforge.net and then buy one suitable for nix. winblows will
of course work..  most of the G cards are hard but can be got working .
I use deb on the lappy with a dwl 650+ dlink which is a tough choice
for nix but when working is good . ( not for the novice)

you might need this if you decide not to use a common card.

Netgear WG511T...Awesome card with long range and supports WEP (64 and
128bit), WPA (radius) and WPA-PSK (both TKIP & AES).  Works with various
routers and APs from various vendors.
