Which is better, WEP or WPA?
I've just got my first wireless router and I was wondering what people opinions are on which encryption method is better? I believe my router supports both, and as I regularly use internet banking I'd like to stay secure. Any opinions are very welcome. Paul Paul Schofield wrote:

Thanks for pointing me towards that article, it made very interesting reading as did the previous blog (I followed the link at the bottom of the page). I was nervous about changing my security settings as I once had a previous router that worked fine with no security but slowed down so much it would have made a dial-up connection look fast when WEP was activated. I've now switched my current router to WPS-PSK with AES (looked best from what I read) and everythings working fine. Thanks for your help.
