Which is better, WEP or WPA?

Hi everyone,

I've just got my first wireless router and I was wondering what people
opinions are on which encryption method is better?
I believe my router supports both, and as I regularly use internet banking
I'd like to stay secure.
Any opinions are very welcome.

Hi Ted,

Thanks for pointing me towards that article, it made very interesting
reading as did the previous blog (I followed the link at the bottom of the
page).
I was nervous about changing my security settings as I once had a previous
router that worked fine with no security but slowed down so much it would
have made a dial-up connection look fast when WEP was activated.
I've now switched my current router to WPS-PSK with AES (looked best from
what I read) and everythings working fine.
Thanks for your help.
