EVC-X10 problem (drum ?)Hello,
I have two EVC-X10 Video-8 camcorders (I live in France but they came from USA, so in NTSC) and they have both the same problem: the drum seems to turn too quikly, the image is poor and always desynchronized. I give one to be repaired (basically to check the guides) but it does not change anything. Any idea ? On 8/31/2007, verd***@rocketmail.com posted this:

Any idea ? might be trying to play the video at ~25 frames/second and your NTSC camcorders might be (in fact surely are) outputting the video at ~30 frames/second. Plus, of course, the different numbers of lines per frame... Have you tried outputting the video from the camcorders to a TV absolutely *known* to be able to play NTSC? For example, an American TV set. -- Gene E. Bloch (Gino) letters617blochg3251 (replace the numbers by "at" and "dotcom") verd***@rocketmail.com wrote:

About the PAL (50 Hz)/NTSC (60 Hz), I am a bit disappointed because I have also a EVO-9100 (V8 and Hi8) and a CCD-V9 (V8) which works fine (that is I have a black & white image on the TV) ... verd***@rocketmail.com wrote:
