It's rather stunning how bad the picture and color are on the JVC JR-D750 DV
Camcorder. At under $200 I should not expect great image quality (IQ)
but....

Is it the cheap lens or a piss-poor sensor to blame for the poor IQ?

My old Sony D8 520(?) I bought six years ago had much better IQ (if only the
power switch didn't fail this year).
