If you store movies on your hard disk drives then you should try
MovieManager.  MovieManager.ca is a fully featured application that
scans your drives, locates movies, identifies and catalogues them,
gets information from the web, stores your movie information and plays
your movies using the media player(s) you choose.

MovieManager is high quality, Java/Eclipse RCP software that provides
you with a  powerful Apache Derby database to store movie information
so that you can lookup movies on the internet, play your movies and
organize and list them in a convenient way. You can find MovieManager
on the web at: MovieManager.ca

thanks,
Al
