TV to MiniDV tape?Is there any way I can transfer something from my TiVo to a MiniDV tape

Set the camcorder to VCR record mode. Play the video on the TiVo, and pause it at the beginning. Start the camcorder recording and unpause the TiVo. Stop both when finished. I'm going to guess, however, that if the OP needs guidance on doing an analog copy from tivo to miniDV, then hacking his Tivo box will probably be beyond him. And, my "tivo" is actually a TimeWarner DVR.

So, it doesn't allow
me to record in VCR mode. However, I bought an S-video cord. Is there a way to take something from the DVR with the S-video cord conneected to my Powerbook?
