it... thus, you're nearly dead. Could you tell us which portion of the heart it's in, or what portions it covers? to the UK and get it done free under the National Health Service? Everyone else seems to be doing so. If someone in any community anywhere in the US has a legetimate health emergency like this - truely can't afford the surgery, and has exhausted all the standard sources of funding, and is REALLY in a medical crisis, all they need to do is drop by the local radio or TV stations with their story. After the local folks check out the legitimacy and authenticity of the situation, they'll HAPPILY donate air time to publicize the "crisis." And money will flow in. It makes the station look community involved and active. They hook up with a local bank to set up the account. Set up the donation mechanism, and make sure the donations go to medical expenses, not to a new sports car. And everybody wins. OTOH if it's just a scam, folks want you to send the money directly to THEM. So my advice, don't send anyone a penny if they can't direct you to a legitimate local media partner or verifiable social service agency with direct knowledge of the situation.
