help, laptop does not recognize my sony dcr-trv38When I connect my sony dcr-trv38 to my laptop via usb, my computer does
not seem to recognize the camcorder unless I move the camcorder switch to 'memory stick.' Memory stick is just for still pics, but I want to transfer some video onto my laptop. Anyone have any suggestions about how to make my laptop recognize the camcorder. I did install some image transfer software that came with the camcorder, but it didn't seem to help. Any ideas are much appreciated!! Mike Mike wrote:

If your computer doesn't have a firewire port, you will need to install the propper card. Dave
