Hi,

Does anybody know a good website to publish your own video's? I want
to have an account that allows me to upload at least several Gb's of
data cuz the format of my movies is mpeg2 (dvd).

Thanks a lot.

....like maybe YouTube?   But you won't have much luck with MPEG2,
you'll have to convert to a format that isn't out of the stone age.
AsYouTube say -

"......either QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files- these are
the most common formats and they work well within our system. We
specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240
resolution with MP3 audio. "

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. The reason I'm asking
this that I want to show my friends a home video I recently made. But
they are not living nextdoor, some I came up with the idea to supply
them the movie through the internet.
Anyway, what I'm actually looking is a ftp(-like) account of 5 Gb  of
data or more. I'm willing to pay a small amount of money.
Then my friends can download the mpeg2 movie and watch the movie at
their place.

It's easy enough to find space on the web to put stuff, and if you
change your codec to something more efficient you won't need 5Gb.

Type "web storage" into Google
