Hey folks new to the group and mini DVcamcorders

Just got the JVC - GRD370U camcorder, does anyone have one of these yet
and if so, what do you find to be the optimal settings for both video
and still (DSC) photos?

My questions are in regards to AUTO -vs Manual record setting, ASG
auto, Exposure Control, White Balance, and Fine -vs Standard setting
for still photos

Currently have AUTO set for recording and fine for DSC, video looks
good, still shots are just ok

Thanks in advance
