A few weeks ago I saw an ad for a video converter that would allow me
to write directly to a USB HD or Flash Drive.  At thte time I just
deleted teh ad, but now I need one... Does anyone out there rememeber
seeing a similar ad?

Finally found the item I was looking for:  It is an Archos AV 500.
Holds a 30 Gig HD inside it and is able to record internally and send
data to external mass storage devices.
Nice toy for those with the $$$...

I figured yout that I had seen the ad on a Direct TV Spam mail...
