how do i put my 8mm tapes on vhs tapes

i would like to know how to put my 8 mm tapes on vhs tapes myself. is
there a converter or something i can buy to do it and where?

Have you considered transferring them to your computer and making DVD's? The
quality would be a lot better.
To transfer to VHS all you really need to do is play them back with the
composite video and audio connected into the VHS line in - press record.
