Playback controls on JVC GY-HD100

Mr. Tapeguy
Maybe I'm having a senior moment but I'll be darned if I can't find the
VTR playback controls on the GY-HD100.   The controls are pictured on
page 52 of the manual but it doesn't give any indication as to where
they are located and so far two adults and one child have been unable
to locate them.

Can anyone describe where they might be relative to something obvious?

Thanks in advance.

Two adults and one child, huh?

Take a look at the rear portion of the top of the camcorder's body,
just past the point where the handle connects to the body, and you'll
find a protective cover which when pulled up, reveals the four
transport control buttons as shown in the following image.

Hope this helps, and if can't figure out how to insert a tape, please
let me know. :)

Found it, thanks.  I guess it's really three children if you consider
my ex-wife and me.  : >

Tape insertion, now THAT I can do.  I guess that makes me a frickin'
engineer...

A regular Systems Engineer, no less, something that I actually used to
be many, many moons ago.

I too, have my senior moments now and then, but they are brief in
duration and pass quickly, thankfully.

First- open the LCD, look in and press the button; then on top at the end of
the handle there is a flip cover; open it and play/raw/fwd as you like.
Let me know if you still have trouble and I'll call you and walk you through
it.
