Cord for older AC/DC TV

I need help getting an unusual older TV set running.
Some time prior to 1990 I bought a TV set that ran on AC or 12 volt DC.
I used it on the boat I had at the time and it was a wonderful 10-inch
screen with great color.
I've had it in storage and decided to fire it up, as it might be
great for someone's boat or RV or kids room.  Problem: I can't
locate the manual and I can't find the cord to plug it in.  The set
has the male connectors and there are 5 prongs.
The manufacturer is Quasar with a model number of UP2133WW.
Anyone out there who can help me find the cord and/or manual?
Thanks,
The Old Professor

If nothing else happens, consider posting[1] a photo of the connector
and the legend printed on or near it. Someone might recognize it and
figure out.

[1] Best thing is to place the picture on a web site and post a link to
it.

Very good idea Gino. Thank you.
I posted a picture of this infernal socket at
http://www.oldprof.com/Images/TV.JPG.
I hope it's viewable to someone who might help me further.
Thanks again Gino.

Looks like Panasonic [Quasar parent] part # TSX1174

PartStore
[http://www.partstore.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductSKU=4520272&s=froogle]
has it listed in stock @ $11.09

Most other suppliers list it as NLA [no longer available] and cross it
to part # TSX2AA0181, which MCM [http://www.mcminone.com] shows in stock
@ $4.38

The above links with the square brackets failed in my usual newsreader,
MesNews, so I tried them in Xnews, and they worked fine.

Actually, I first tried copying them and pasting them into a text
editor, then recopying them without the brackets to my browser. That
also worked fine.

Just an oddity for your entertainment. Probably OT...

I'm sufficiently oddly entertained.

Wonder if the OP ever got the info...

I did indeed and just received the notice it has been shipped. I now
await it's arrival from Florida to California and am hopeful it's the
one as there was no picture available. However, this supplier has a
good return policy so I don't have much to lose. Meanwhile, I once
again marvel at the way help is so avaialable here. A great experience
no matter what.
Thanks again!

PS Just in case anyone is curious I'll post a note here when it
arrives.

Please do.

Looking at the picture the other day, I wondered if there is also a DC
cord available so that you could run the set in a car. Otherwise I see
no need for all of those pins :-)

Checking back on your original post, I see I should have suggested
using it on a boat instead ...

As of wednesday AM the cord hasn't arrived yet.
You folks replied with so much help I forgot to ask again about a users
manual.
Any ideas there?

Flattery will get you everywhere :-)

In another group, someone complained about my use of the preposition
"by" in my sig; I see you replaced "by" by "with" :-)

BTW, I gave him a citation from my dictionary (it's a CD, not online)
using "replace by", but I haven't been back there (wherever it was) yet
to see his response. I hope he didn't mind - I didn't mind his post,
but my reply might not have made that clear...
