good replacement digital 8 camcorder with analog in?
>From what I can tell the only current digital 8 camera Sony is selling has no analog in. Am I missing any model? Can someone recommend a goodreplacement for my dcr-trv230, that has analog in? Thanks Sony quit making Digital8 camcorders in 2005. They apparently sold
all of the TRV480 models that had an analog input. I think they are only selling off the remaining TRV280 models this year and when they are gone, no more D8 camcorders. You will have to look to the "used" market or get your 230 fixed. If it is not broken, keep using it. It was one of the best. If you are going to buy another D8, avoid the 130, 140, 250, 260 and 280 NTSC models as they did not have analog inputs.
