Hi.

I have started using Adobe After Effects 7.0 (*AE* onward) and I have found
some difficulties with effects. I am newbie and feel a bit confused. I've
found some effects, which are displayed in effect pallet but after trying to
apply them *AE* indicate the effect is missing :/.
Maybe after opening those file After Effects import everything including
reference to effects used in file. What do you think?

Thanks for any comments and suggestions.

Regards.

Is your copy of After Effects a proper kosher original copy, and not at
all a rip-off piece of warez?   If it is, try re-installing.

No. It's not any kind of rip-off warez. It is part of Production Studio.
Everything works pretty well but the problem I found is that effects like
'CC Toner', 'CC Snow' etc. doesn't exist in my AE copy :/.

But

I found some tutorials - movie files in Internet, wich are supported by AE
files and when I follow the tutorial using the same actions as inside the
movie, e.g. applying those effects, AE indicates Missing Effects. Inside the
effect pallet there are 'folder; Missing, in which I can find missing
effects. Maybe,I am pretty new in this area and I am not sure but I suspect,
those filter are not the AE standard filters. And I want to make sure.

Regards.
