Video camera's picture turns red. Please Help!
But, I didn't use it for about 2 years and its been sitting in my closet. When I turn it on a couple days ago, the picture thru the viewfinder and the lcd flip-out-monitor is all red and when i record, it records red. This happens every so often, and its happening alot more. Is there something I can do to fix it? Is the camera broken? Has anyone ever had this problem? I'm afraid if I turn it in to get it fixed the picture will be fine and the technicians won't see the red picture that happens when I turn it on. Please Help! Benjoseph mani***@gmail.com wrote in

Take your red tape in with you so the tech can see it - and take your checkbook too. -- Gene E. Bloch (Gino) ... letters617blochg3251 (replace the numbers by "at" and "dotcom") Hi, mine has the same exact problem!!! I never used it and now when I
went last night to use it there is red that shows up throughout the recording. Also do you have a greenish tint to your PV-DV953? Have you had your cam repaired yet? Thanks Gene E. back to perfect. Maybe some creeping of the ccd connectors or another cable somewhere in there. I think I am going to disassemble it and clean the connectors to see if that works, If you find an easier fix email me at camcorder***@gmail.com camcorder***@gmail.com wrote: Show quoteHide quote > Hi, mine has the same exact problem!!!
