8mm and Hi8 question
8mm Sony camcorder tape in a Hi8 camcorder ? I have a lot of 8mm PAL camcorder tapes that I would like to transfer them to DVD but all I am able to get is a PAL Hi8 camcorder PA28-181 wrote:

A Digital8 camera will digitize your video using the DV-AVI codec (13 gig an hour) and all you need is a firewire card (also known as 1394) in your PC and a firewire cable to transfer it over. To PA28-181: If that is correct, you should be sure to verify that the particular camera you are interested in will play and (if you need it) will digitize your regular-8 tapes. Gino -- Gene E.
