Help Please - Problem with video playback MiniDV
camcorder. I am only having trouble with two tapes and they are both JVC tapes. Other tapes are working fine. I have tried a Dynex head cleaner but it has not fixed the problem. The tapes were not recorded on this camcorder. They play for 5-10 seconds and then the screen becomes striated with a few of the rows frozen while others continue to play. The sound is also broken up. Is there anything I can do? Can someone else play and copy these tapes for me? It is my daughter's one year birthday party so I am upset and would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks! RM wrote:

Alternatively, if you don't have another machine, someone else might be able to get better playback on theirs. Regardless, another machine is definitely where I would start. Hope that helps. Were all the tapes you're playing recorded on the same camcorder? Show quoteHide quote > > Is there anything I can do?
