Does anybody know if this Projector de-interlaces 1080i by using all
1080 lines or does it discard the "even" fields and spread out the
remaining 540 lines?
I understand that many projectors use this  second method which
produces soft images.

Has anybody fed 1080i "Film" sourced material into this projector?
If so what are the results like?

Regards,
Peter Mason

You are likely to get a better answer in AVS forum
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/
The guys hanging in the projector forums at AVS seem to know more than the
manufacturers about these things...
