sony dcr- h96 still picture question
video recorder mode? i get a error message saying cannot capture to media card. in camera mode it seems to work ok. the memory cars works fine in camera mode, its a 2 gig card and new. on my low end panasonic gs -35 camcorder i could always shoot a still to memory card when in video mode , is this camera defectice? i cant imagine having to flip to camera mode when you want to take a still shot. The three cameras that I've dealt with require you to use a physical switch to go between the video and still modes. One of those cameras (a Sony TRV-20) will capture a still photo to tape (as a one or two second series of identical frames, IIRC), however, while in the video mode. Gino -- Gene E.
