Camcorder Choice

I'm looking to buy a camcorder, but I want a very strong optical zoom, and
it
must have an A/V in connector, for connecting to an external bullet camera.
I've looked at the Sony HC42E, but it's a little expensive, and the zoom
(10x) isn't that good.

Any better suggestions out there?

I don't know that one, I'll go and have a look.
Initial look around suggests that it hasn't got an A/V in connector.
I really want that for connecting to an external bullet camera.

It does have AV in/outs - it uses RCA to mini type of connection.
