Premier & After Effects - Work Flow
I want to get my head around the workflow for a video project with respect to Premier and After Effects. Should you compile the video in Premier then import the Premier Project File into AE? Or the other way around? The reason I ask is because it would seem logical to create the video in Premier then import the whole project into AE, but if this is the case how to you insert titles between scenes in AE? -Al The answer is - it all depends....on what the project is, and how much
of it needs After Effects. AE isn't meant for, or good for, long form material, it's a special effects machine. It may be that you need to do lots of special effects, and these you make up one by one in AE then bring into Premiere. If, on the other hand you have a very short project of a few shots and these all need the same effect you do it the other way around. I can't help thinking that you really could have worked that out yourself......
