For the benefit of anyone else reading this, who may be "slightly"
interested, or just curious....

....I am a music producer with my own small record label and I'm about to
release the first batch of recordings. I realise that nowadays, just selling
the music isn't enough. With so much music being available for free, the
customer wants added value if they are going part with their money. This may
be in the form of reduced rate concert tickets, multimedia or video.

My problem is that all my artists are "non-performing" artists. I.E. They
record mostly as solo artists, so live performances will be few and far
between. Therefore to give my customers some "added value" to the music, I
would like to have some videos made that will enhance the music and
illustrate some of the lyrical content. The results may either be given away
as marketing incentives or be sold as a music video in their own right.
Although there is no money available up front, I will make sure you are
compensated for your work when sales are generated. At the very least it
will gain you extra exposure as a music video producer.

I have no fixed ideas myself for the content of the videos, so this is an
ideal opportunity for anyone who is into the creative aspect of music
videos, to show what they can do. The aim of my record company is to be an
"artist-led" company. If I am able to find someone who is prepared to take
on the role of  in house "Video Producer", it could even lead to a
shareholding in the company. I will send MP3's to anyone who wants to take
on a project. Any kind of work will be considered... animation, film,
montage, documentory, colour or monochrome...the more artistic you can be,
the better! Its entirely up to you!
