I'm running Windows XP Home and would like to have the screen output to
a TV through the TV's S-Video input plug.  There is no S-Video output
plug on the computer.  Please explain how you would accomplish such a
goal.  I assume I need a PCI card, but I don't know where to get one.

Thanks in advance...

You need a video card for your computer that had a S-video output.
This will not be a pci card, but will replace your present video card
in the AGP slot.  (It will have a normal monitor output as well.) You
will buy one at a shop that sells computer stuff.

Note that S-video does not include audio.  This (if required) will
need an additional connection.

If your TV has an input for composite video (typically a phono socket,
grouped with two more for stereo audio) this will work just as well. A
video card with S-video will often have composite output as well.
