Sony to Roxio Transfer Problem

Hello,
I'm new at this. I hooked up my sony camcorder to my pc using roxio.
I am now capturing the video. I tried a test of 10 seconds already and
had a question. The burn time of the captured video seems longer than
the actual video. Is this suppose to be like this?
Please help!

The burn time probably isn't. But the preparation time will be.
Changing video frame-by-frame into a format suitable for burning to a
video DVD is a laborious process. Set it going and go to bed :-)
