Video/Audio delay

I want to transmit the sound separately and wirelessly. Not a problem. However,
to make it interference proof the data should be buffered, which puts a time
delay in the audio side of things. Obviously too much of a delay and whatever
I'm watching looks like a badly dubbed Chinese movie. Is there any way to easily
buffer the video signal to match the audio delay?

Radio mic systems work very well in real time.  If there WAS a
wireless glitch, how would buffering help?  How are you sending the
video signal?  If on a cable, why can't a parallel cable handle audio?

At first glance, you seem to be making unnecessary problems for
yourself.  What are the special circumstances?
