MiniDV to PC.

Hi All,

I have a miniDV camcoder, canon MV700i. I have some recorded movies of
some ocasions. I want to transfer them to my PC, i mean convert them to
mpeg or other PC compatable formats.

how can I do this? what hardware and software will be required? I have
my camera and PC nothing else ...

Hi Yasir,
Get a Firewire card from your computer shop about $35.00 australian dollars,
inclusive of connection cable to the Camera. Download a freeware copy of
WinDV and you have a means to get the video ointo the computer as an DV AVI,
to make an MPEG out of it and even edit the video and Audio get the Womble
Multimedia tryout as that can covert DV AVI to MPEGs of all kind.
