hi, i have been given an old video camera and it has some tapes with
some video i would like to put onto my pc. But it is old and there is
no mention of how to edit this to my pc. The camcorder is a PANASONIC
NV-VX24B and i have the rf leads. Is there anything i can get so i
could put these video tapes onto my pc. Any suggestions would be most
appreciated thanks.

If you could say what format video the camera uses, or what connections
it has, that would be useful.

It's likely that it only has composite video out, or S-VHS. In either
case you'll need an analogue capture card, and editing software.

A quick search identifys it as a vhs analogue camcorder.

You need an analogue capture card to transfer to your PC.

If you intend to do a lot of transfers you could buy a cheap standalone
dvd recorder and capture your tapes direct to DVD.

You can then grab the files onto a computer for editing.
