Taking an American movie to India
Oz" during my next visit (I am in the USA). They have a VCR and a DVD player but the following technical issues are confusing me: 1. Video Tape: I think India and USA have different systems (PAL and NTSC respectively). I don't think what I buy here will play there...? 2. DVD: Don't manufacturers restrict these by "zones"? In other words a dvd bought in the US may not play overseas? What is the best way for me to take this movie to her? For those reading in India, is this available locally? She lives in a smaller town but if i could buy in Delhi (Palika Bazaar etc) I'd just do that. Thanks. Ajanta wrote:
