Hi Folks,
I'm new to all this movie making but desperately want to be able to
edit a split screen shot-in-shot or whatever it's called. I mean have a
small panel 'in screen' of the same scene but shot from another camera.

I have only used windows moviemaker but am willing to download, buy or
whatever the appropriate software.

Any help you can give me to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds as if you have out grown the Microsoft product, unless of course in
the help file it tells you how to do a split screen.
I know with Adobe Premiere products it is more or less a peace of cake  is a
basic "trick" that Adobe tells in great detail how to do.
Go for it.
Yours,
TOM

OK Tom I bought Adobe Premiere and it looks great.
I now need another Camera. I have a panasonic mini dv nv-gs3 (bout 2-3
years old) which seems to have been ok. Should I get another panasonic
and if so which one?

Thanks

Mike
