Panasonic Digi Mixer WJ-MX20 question...

I work for a touring theatre company that uses video projection in our
performances - as such, we use a WJ-MX20 mixer to generate a black on
a Monitor between DVD cues.

With the video input (from the DVD) coming into source 1 and the
'black' being the background color, we are able to switch between the
two states to serve our purpose.

Forgive my ignorance, I come from a different background and am
appropriating this equipment for a use other than it is intended...

My question is that the A-B slider seems to be mis-adjusted and I
don't know how to fix it. As the slider moves from one bus to the
other and the wipe progresses, all is well - however, when the slider
reaches the top or bottom, the output switches back to the oposite
bus' source.

So say there is a video of a cat on source 1(active on B bus),  and
nothing on source 2 (active on A bus) - when I move the slider all
the way to A I get the Cat and as I slide it slowly down the Cat
blinks out and then wipes in until it is fully there before blinking
out to black again as the slider reaches B.

I have been back and forth through the manual and cannot find a
reason.

Help?

Thanks, Jon.

You don't have a problem at all.  You're just connected to the wrong output!
You're looking at the preview output instead of the program output.  Switch
the cable and see if the problem resolves.

Cheers.
