Can't Record to VCR from Sony Digital 8
I can hook up the AV cables directly to the inputs on a TV and get video and sound with no problems. I can also set it up to dub and it turns the recording pause on the VCR on and off as it should at the various phases of programmed edit, but the tape has nothing on it. Tried different tapes and different VCR's. Is there something I am missing ? Bud On 8/25/2005, zbud managed to type:

Or Video In, if they call it that. I know you know this, you already told us you can view it on the TV Line In :-) Gino -- Gene E. If so, it's something in the setup. If not, it's individual to yours. Meanwhile, the local vendor might be able to troubleshoot for you.
