Help! - is this camcorder any good???I have bought a Canon UC-X40 in a car boot sale, it uses Hi8 cassettes.
I have looked on the web for information but cannot find any reviews etc. Before I spend any money on tapes etc, can anyone tell me if the camcorder is any good?? can you edit the tapes on a computer and put it on disk? thanks!! Unless the Canon came with everything required to connect it to a pc, I wouldn't bother to kit up. If you want to do video, a dv camera doesn't have to be expensive.
