Epson PowerLite S1+ as a television projector?
1400 lumens, works well with computer showing DVD. Native resolution is 800x600 with intelligent resizing to 1024/768. Spec includes 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i. Aspect ratio is selectable at 4:3 or 16:9. It seems quiet, too (but to me, everything does!). I'm thinking of using this as a television projector in our bedroom, where it'll be used in low light conditions. Is there any reason why that wouldn't be practical? Thanks, gurus! Can I have a copy of the tape? :-) which the unit will project-- it's quite a large room, with a seating area, too.
