Need projector recommendations

Hi all,

Well it looks like I now have the space to incorporate a projector in
with my home theater setup. Do any of you have recommendations for a
good projector in home theater use in the 1500.00 to 3,000 range? My
room that will be used for home theater is quite bright so we will need
a fairly bright projector although I will be able to control it by
darkening the windows.

If you want to watch in a bright room, is a projector a good choice?

Yeah, maybe I didn't explain it well enough. The room has several
windows that we will control with blinds, however most of our viewing of
movies will be done in the evening. I'm leaning towards a projector as
it gives me the most flexibility with screen size without a huge
appliance to get a large screen; i.e. plasma tv, etc.
