Enable DV-in on Canon camcorder?
Is it possible to enable these missing features? It appears from the specs that this camera is IEEE1394 compatible.
Usually it's just a matter of connecting the cable and seeing if camera and computer recognize eachother. If there is no firewire port, then you'd need to run to an outboard digitizer like a Canopus ADVC 100 which will digitize the outgoing analog signal from the camera.
