Problem capturing color VHS tape to PC

Hi,

I am trying to digitize a bunch of VHS-C tapes but am only able to
capture in black and white, despite the tapes being recorded in color.

I am using the Composite RCA output from my VCR pugged into the
Composite RCA input of my video capture card.

When I plug the VCR into my TV it gives me color so I know that the VCR
is functioning properly.

I have tried 2 different video capture cards on 2 different computers
and in each instance I can only capture video in black and white.

Any suggestions?

TIA.

Aaron

Make sure the cards are in PAL (Australia) mode - which is PAL B/G if I
recall correctly. Sounds like it's trying to capture in NTSC.

Also, if the card has an S-video input as well, make sure it's set to
capture from the composite input.

Thanks Cail.  I will give it a try.
