of any kind. That is rec.video.marketplace. Would you mind confining your for-profit, sale/resale activities to that space. It's really rude and boorish when you insist on invading this space. No one should use this space for their for-profit sales/news letters. Probably before _you_ could even spell internet. cheers -martin- -- "Now I want you to say it thrice daily and don't dress a bun" Well, Alpha and chebba, Gary Bettan has been posting in these NGs
for literally years with his sales pitches identified as coming from Videoguys. Therefore, the first word in his subject, the name of his store, was one of several clues to me that it was another ad. He also posts assistance for various problems. So I accept it with good grace. YMMV, of course. Bloch (Gino) letters617blochg3251 replace the numbers by "at" and "dotcom" Videoguys sure helped this newbe get his act together and as a result I am
making great use of my video products, even though I have never bought anything from Videoguys. I sure would rather read their posts than the flames that go on in this newsgroup, so I really do not mind the rare times Videoguys post. Their help sure outweighs any "ads". Have fun, make films and just plane lighten up everyone. Tom Show quoteHide quote "Gene E. newsgroup is OK. I understand it. Many people help constantly on this newsgroup without wanting anything in return. If Gary's help comes with a price than that's OK. It's hard to believe his help is not slanted somehow, what with his selling needs. I just thought it would be OK if for once I stated what I thought of his advertizing. I have boughten things from him when I started too. Guy Graphics doesn't put up sales letters. Others share and then I check out their website. I have been a daily visitor to this newsgroup for 3 years. has a host of useful information. Their reviews of products have been honest and straight-forth. And, they seem to sell just about everything. I personally don't mind seeing whatever he puts up here. And... if you don't want to read his messages, don't. Filter it out. You hardly ever see Ashley on here anyway. He is usually lurking somewhere
in the Canopus forums. <che***@hbci.com> wrote in message Show quoteHide quote news:42b0dc4f.49411671@cnews.newsguy.com... > Your opinion on the advertizements from Gary in this informational > newsgroup is OK.
