Canon GL2 problem
keeps going after I realse the button, then I can't tele out. It is almost acting if it is automated or something, but sometimes it just zooms in all the way and is stuck there for 30sec to a minute, I can't do anything? Any clues what might be causing this or something I can troubleshoot this with? On 6/11/2005, VideoGoat managed to type:

I personally wouldn't, especially if it's still under warranty. Gino -- Gene E. Bloch (Gino) letters617blochg3251 (replace the numbers by "at" and "dotcom") Hi,
I have a similar problems with a sony. Once it was the spring that puts the zoom switch to its middle position, and if the switch is not in the centre the zoom keeps going. On several other occasions (about 5) the problem appeared to be the flexible connection between the lid holding the controls and the camera body. Sony kept fixing these problems for about 2.5 years and then they gave me a new replacement camera, that one is now 1.5 years old , has been repaired once and is again faulty, I have given up. The model is a TRV520. I recently purchased a panasonic GS400 and I now have less video noise, sharper, less washed out and better colour video.
