Vegas trial (vs. Premiere Pro)
trial based on someone here posting a glowing review after they switched. Only had it for a day - futzed with some of the samples - but I've been impressed. Biggest thing I noticed - it's much snappier when scrubbing the timeline. Premiere Pro - on the same computer, with the same files - seems to drag it's feet a lot. (not unusable by any stretch but noticable and sometimes annoying) Don't know if that pep will carry over into other tasks but I've liked what I've seen enough to edit my next project in Vegas. I'm a die-hard Adobe guy and I've been using all of their stuff since "version 1.0" so this is a departure for me. If anyone's interested, I'll post back with a comparison once I have a feel for Vegas. What's with the "+DVD" version and is there a Sony competitor for Adobe Audition? Chris C.J.Patten wrote:
