Looking back... (and FYI Tom)

....at posts from as little as two months ago, I was asking all the basic
questions - "which camera is best" kinda stuff.

Man, I'm so far ahead of where I was!

YOU GUYS & GALS ROCK!

_________

Tom, FYI: my Task Manager reports memory usage at 671MB and CPU usage at
100% - both fans on the bottom of my waffle iron are belching fire at me and
Premiere is rendering out that M2V file as an AVI. (133% width increase to
compensate for the pixel aspect ratio issue)

The 10 second test looked "OK" so we'll see how it comes out on the big
screen.
(I'm prepared for a quality hit but hopefully I'll be the only one to
notice)

Well, I'm off to a music gig while this puppy grinds away.
Night all!

I love the premise.  I wish it had gotten more exposure.

"How much for you to kill a puppy?" and then give them the puppy and the
check and say "Go ahead."

Just brilliant.

Isn't it great?! Their site has a bunch of other material - haven't gone
through it all yet but it seems pretty clever. http://www.oldeenglish.org/

It really is amazing to SEE how much you've learned.

I went back (because of this thread) and looked at some of the boneheaded
things I was posting only a couple months ago.

It's funny but it also keeps you humble.  Remember I was clueless once, too.
