SONY TRV-280 HandyCam Camcorder - Sound Lag

Im making movies by streaming them directly to my hard drive with the USB
cable on the Sony TRV-280 HandyCam and all the videos have "sound lag". The
sound lags behind the video by about 1 second. They're not in sync. How can
I fix this? Please help. Thanks.

P.S. Using Nero Vision Express 3 to save the videos if that helps. Thanks.

USB transfers are intended for full quality video -- only for transferring
stills and, perhaps, for use as a webcam.  Try transferring your video with
the 1394/Firewire port.

Did you intend to say "USB transfers are 'not' intended for full quality
video"? Im thinking this is what you meant to say otherwise the message
wouldn't make much sense.

I did, thanks.  That's what I get for not re-reading what I write
before I post.
