Buzzing Noise From TFT
ideas? Cheers CK Unless it has a fan in it, it probably has to do with the fluorescent back
light system and it needs repaired. -- Show quoteHide quoteWayne Morgan "Chris Kilian" <ajd***@adf.com> wrote in message news:42113b8e$0$8759$db0fefd9@news.zen.co.uk... > Hi I am getting a horrible buzzing noise from my TFT Screen , anyone got > any > ideas? I am guessing that it may in fact be worth gettting a new one rather than
getting it repaired. Any idea how much it normally costs and even who does it.? and I didn't see the price then. Also, what it would cost here in the US and there in the UK may be different. If you check with the manufacturer, they may have an "authorized repair center" that they deal with, otherwise, just about anyone who repairs laptops can probably repair an LCD monitor. -- Show quoteHide quoteWayne Morgan "CK" <pu***@pxfernyz.pbz> wrote in message news:J6mQd.60976$68.18377@fe1.news.blueyonder.co.uk... >I am guessing that it may in fact be worth gettting a new one rather than >getting it repaired. was touching a capacitor on the monitor , cut a small tiny hole in the metal plate put it all back together again and no more buzzing....
