MS8137C ???
When I put it into socket it didn't work. So, I went on www.matsonic.com and downloaded MB manual, and didn't find anything helpful. The question is does my MB support AMD Athlon XP 2600+? Now, I run it with AMD XP 1600. Thanks. Check the jumpers. Try clearing CMOS. Try updating the bios. Is your power supply sufficient or a cheapie like the motherboard? XP2600 uses a few more amps. It's also using a higher FSB rate, is your memory PC2700 or better? Could be the board is just buggy, try removing all but one memory module and try it in different slots. Try increasing memory voltage in bios if possible. Visit a hardware web forum like http://forums.amdmb.com , there might be fellow users of that board there. |
